“What if” is a long-standing topic for comic books and vehicle prototypes alike. Case in point: the GM electric pontoon prototype that might have been.
Or still could be. Although the GM/Forward Marine e-boat was only a prototype in 2019, that doesn’t rule it out as a harbinger of boats to come. Dubbed Forward First, it offered dockside charging at 120V commonly found in marinas while boasting 200 peak horsepower.
