ePropulsion, a global leader and market challenger in marine electric propulsion systems and services, has been selected to power Highfield Boats’ new electric tender, the 3.4m Classic 340 E, which can be seen for the very first time at this year’s boot Düsseldorf.
Highfield Boats has chosen ePropulsion’s Navy 6.0 Evo outboard for its new electric tender, providing clean, efficient, and reliable power at 9.9HP in both salt and fresh water. The Navy 6.0 Evo has a brushless direct-drive motor, ensuring the range benefits from the high reliability, low maintenance and low operating noise of this technology as well as it being lightweight, compact and environmentally friendly.
Like the rest of Highfield’s RIB and tender range, the Classic 340 E features a recyclable and durable aluminum hull and is built to an exceptional quality finish. Designed to work hard in all climates, the tender’s full length keel guards and double decked floor make it ideal for beach-hopping days with friends and family. Measuring at 3.4m length and 1.7m width, the tender will comfortably carry five people.
Danny Tao, Co-Founder and CEO of ePropulsion says: “We are excited to be part of the rise in more sustainable boating. The partnership between Highfield and ePropulsion will bring a new eco-friendly option to the marine market, expanding the opportunities for boaters to go zero emission. We look forward to working with Highfield continuously on the electrification of boats to meet a range of market needs.”
“We are thrilled to include the CL430E powered by the ePropulsion Navy 6.0 Evo in our tender range,” comments Mathilde Delfour, Highfield’s European Managing Director. “We are looking forward to equipping existing and new clients with this reliable, efficient and eco-conscious solution.” Looking towards future developments, Delfour states: “Stay tuned, there’s more to come!”
ePropulsion will be available at boot Düsseldorf from 21-29 January at Stand D42, Hall 10.
